First login (Preparing Windows) seems slower after recent Windows 10 updates

Has anybody noticed that the Preparing Windows part of the first login seems to have gone longer after some recent Windows 10 updates. My first login was about 1 min 30 but has now gone back to nearly 5 mins??

Yeh. Had a user log on for the first time after account migration to W10 the other day and it must of taken 10 minutes to log on.

Have you removed apps through powershell? I may run process monitor remotely to see what's slowing it down. If any of the apps have updated they may be copying to each users profile.

It happens every time. I asked on Windows forums and apparently it's a normal thing. Not to mention that each and every update causes new issues... I just had problems with sound...

 

Eh, we love Windows 10
