eejit Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) Has any other school gotten their own independent ISP? We are looking for 10MB SDSL at least, can anyone recommend a good supplier and what kind of money are we looking at? Edited February 12, 2008 by eejit
steve_nfi Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Try speaking to this Guy and his team. Mark Bonnamy CISCO CCSP, CISS, CCNA, CCDA #CSCO10077329 Cisco Routing & Switching Sales Specialist Cisco Security Solutions Design Specialist Cisco Security Sales Specialist Chase Morran Plc 16 Anning Street London EC2A 3HB Reg No 3222702 Tel: 020 7749 4321 Fax: 020 7749 4322 I know that Cisco is probably a bit prohibitive but they quoted us for some wireless and hard wired network solutions and they beat all other quotes. But that's not what you were asking. He also sent me this below. ---------- A couple of other things that maybe be of interest in the future 1/ We offer a sophisticated web filtering solution http://www.marshal.com/products/webmarshal/index.asp 2/ 24Mb Broadband is now available, you can buy this direct from http://www.bethere.co.uk it has proved to be a very good service, the service has zero contention and the base cost is £22 per month. --------- Hope this helps :-)

You'd be better off with one of their leased line options (with the DSL backup of course).
