2x iPads sudden cannot verify identity of websites. Rest of the set are still fine.

I've tried wiping the ipads and re-applying the profiles to no avail. The proxy server is definitely set and the iPad does have the profile added which contains the certificate.

 

Any non-https site works fine (bbc.co.uk for example) but any time you try to use https it doesn't allow it, which makes me think it's something to do with the iPad and Smoothwall, but the Smoothwall details/credentials are set properly, and all the other iPads have the same configuration and don't have an issue.

 

For example, I can go to http://www.httpVShttps.com and run the http test fine, but if I click the HTTPS test, I get the "The identity of "www.httpvshttps.com" cannot be verified by Safari." error

After finding a few obscure threads online, I think it's to do with date and time, which seems about right as it thought it was 2011.

 

So I'm trying to set the time manually, flicking forward.. Overshoot it.. 2020. Okay, so wind it back a bit.. Going back in time.. back in time.. now I'm in 2032? WHAT THE APPLE?! Why can't I just enter a sodding date?

 

Edit: Scrolling backwards... 2006. Scroll in the opposite direction.. 2000. I'm going to throw this out the window in a minute >.<

Edit2: If I scroll for a bit and get $Month $Day 2012, and then go to $Month $Day+1 2012, it jumps to 2018, go forward one more day, 2030... How does any of this make any sense?!

I managed to "fix" it by getting it "close enough" (margin of error of a few years) but it was skipping again, so then I exited settings and came back in and was actually able to move day-by-day without the years skipping forward.

But seriously, what the heck Apple. Why on earth is that a thing? >.<

 

On the plus side, it did actually fix my issue.
