We redirect favorites to \\server\users$\\favorites and on Windows 7 it works well. However, for one user, in Windows 10 LTSB, using IE11 clicking on a favorite does nothing. Going to properties of the shortcut and copying and pasting the URL works. The user has full control of the redirected folder, and can add shortcuts. Other Windows 10 users are fine. What am I missing?

I had this problem, i think the default group policy is a bit messed up, if you open internet explorer>internet Options > Advanced> restor Advanced settings> your favorites should work, then copy the settings into your IE GPO :)
