Any members game on over watch with an older pc, what sort of frame rates are people getting.

 

on my 20" panel with everything turned off @ 1600x1200 i manage mid 60-70 FPS but in busy combat dips mid 30's or below

PC is

 

phenom II x4 2.9Ghz

16GB RAM

HD 6870

 

i am thinking that the gfx card is the main thing that is holding the machine back, or has the Phenom had its day?

keep looking at cheap Z400 workstations on ebay and wonder if dropping bits into one of those will improve frame rates and performance.
