pete Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Some's spotted this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/education/imagine-academy/default.aspx Which looks like you can pay for on a yearly basis and get a set amount (possibly via EES) and get a set amount of Microsoft exam vouchers: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/education/imagine-academy/become-a-member/default.aspx which might be useful for a few things we're doing here. There're no results for it* on Edugeek and most of the software vendors I've spoken to are unfamiliar with exactly how it works and the costs involved. *"imagine academy"
pete Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 OK, follow up for the next person finding no results. Roughly £650/year for the programme, which includes 30 exam vouchers, of which 20 might be useful. You'll need to purchase additional vouchers on top of that. We spoke to couple of Unis and HE colleges running the program and they all told us they wish they hadn't bothered due to the faff involved in dealing with Pearson. So we're knocking the idea on the head for now. 1
limawhiskey Posted July 28, 2016 Posted July 28, 2016 Thanks for posting the follow up. I was interested in this as well.
tanvirni Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Hi Pete and Limawhiskey, We are also interested about this. Did you enrol on this? If yes, how it is working for you? Thank you, Tanvir
pete Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 ^ Nope, the cost (money/time)/benefit ratio was too far off.
