Meraki MDM managing Staff laptops

Does anyone manage their Staff Home laptops through Meraki MDM?

I want a way to keep tabs on these, ensure they are being used, AV and WU are up to date etc...

 

Wondering if anyone can advise if this is a good idea, not sure how much of the AV and WU you can monitor?, and if its going to be worth the hassle of pulling them all back into school! (I envisage this will take months!)
