FN-GM Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Hi, I am looking for a query that will populate the collection if a file is present on a machine. The ones on the internet don't seem to work. Does anyone have one I could steal please? Thanks

Thanks I'm guessing that you'll need to make the Inventory look for the file on a computer first and store that information within SCCM before any query will work.
Norphy Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 It'd be a roundabout way of doing it but the most reliable way I can think of to do this would be via DCM. Write a PowerShell script to look for a file and have it return a value depending on whether the file exists or not. You can then create a collection from that. I don't have access to a computer with ConfigMgr on it right now so I can't go through the exact procedure. If you can wait a couple of days, I can go into more detail.
