IT Manager – South West London

Up to £31,000 dependent on experience

 

 

Our client, a large high school located in South West London, are currently looking for an experienced IT Manager. Reporting to the Core Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management, leadership, supervision, development and support of the schools IT systems and services.

 

Your role will be to take responsibility for the IT Support Team, taking a lead role in identifying and planning the implementation of new systems, provide 3^rd line support, oversee network installations, configurations and upgrades, as well as overseeing any changes to the telephone system infrastructure.

 

 

Required Skills and Experience

· Proven experience in leadership and management of staff and services

· Experience dealing with 3^rd party suppliers and contractors

· An in depth knowledge of Ethernet LANs, WLAN, Windows Server 2008/2012, Windows SQL Server 2008/2012, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Active Directory, Microsoft Hyper-V and windows clients

· Knowledge of computer hardware/software installation, AV technologies and printer technologies.

· Knowledge and understanding of the FITS and/or ITIL processes

· Preferably hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification
