i dont know if its correct that nebbys evolutionary destiny was set by where it came from so any i catch will always become solgaleo or where its evolved so any given to me will be solgaleo if i evolve them

 

I wasn't about so I didn't see it.

 

It's based on the game it's currently in. Moon will always get Lunala, Sun will always get Solgaleo.

well my type null finally evolved (its at level 70 started at 50)

you can get extra evolution stones i.e. found through poke pelage i got a bunch of fire/water and a moon stone or 2 so sent my mon off mining for more and evolved a cleafable lol

if you try to fight the tapu-insert name heres and kill it you can reset it and try again by beating the elite 4 again and you get a different 5th person to beat this time round and it was much easier with level 70+ mons lol

been looking at the stats on my 3ds and sun is currently my 5th most played game and its only an hour or so behind 3rd (first 2 are ace attorney trilogy and fire emblem awakening and I'm at 1/2 2/3 the time spent though only the average playtimes are all similar)

Wonder traded some starters...

 

So far I've got in return: Hidden Ability Vulpix, Hidden Ability Rattata, Beast Ball Magikarp with almost perfect IVs, Beast Ball Kangaskhan, and junk like Gumshoos and Abra.

 

Every single one is from a different region, so increased shiny chances. Mostly China and Japan.

 

 

Le EDIT: aww... it's not a Hidden Ability Rattata. Hustle is a regular ability on Alolan form.

just at 199 on the poxedex got all the island guardians im now fishing managed to catch a cresola and a marenie damn i hate low percentage carthes iirc took about 2-2.5 hours to get em both. Noe fishing for a shelder

 

im wanting to do moon with just starters (so start a file get to the first point i can transfer then dump a starter to someone start again dump a starter and the same to get poplio/litten into sun (so 4 restarts lol)) and just to make it a bit easier im going to allow pichu as a starter (as pikachu is in yellow and i can catch it early) other 2 spaces im thinking eevees or a magicarp for a laugh

Where you save-scumming a bubbling spot? That's what I did, took about 30 minutes to get EVERY rare 'mon. Including Dratini.

 

Because they're a 10% catch there. Otherwise it's 1%.

nope everytime i find a bubbling spot it goes the second i cast a line i just spammed it for ages killing hundreds of magicarp some mon ran out of usable moves iirc getting corsola 2 mons ran out of moves (or all but). Got a shelder now pokedex is over 200 and my eevee army is coming along lol

 

is anyone around at some point to hold some mon for me so i can start moon with all 3 starters and a lvl 1 lapras ?

Finally picked this back up, been a busy week. Just completed Island Challenge No. 2, it was pretty easy. (Pikachu with Thunder Bolt, Thunder Wave, Nasty Plot and Double Team)

well ive got the dex up to just shy of 230 i think ive pretty much got all i can get bar a few evolutions without trading so i had a look at the online trading system this morning. Good greif people dont half want a lot for some mon i was looking for a sandshew as they arnt in sun and virtually everone wants something ludicrous like nebby or type null or something that there is only one of in the game or they want something at level 70+ sure ill trade you my level 90 vulpix for a level 30 sanshrew geez

Yeah the GTS can be a bit broken in that way, A pigey for a mew please yeah right.

 

I found the best way around it is to caught a new vulpix and put that up to trade or ask someone on here that has Moon version to trade.

that was my solution put the spare vulpix i caught up for "auction" and will see what happens

 

dosent look like the community will hit the catch 100'000'000 mon by midnight tonight last time i looked it was at 15-16 mil caught

I thought so too. There was a reasonable initial interest but I think a lot of that was people just going through the games catching stuff as normal. A lot of people will have completed the game by now and probably aren't touching it that much. The vast majority of players aren't fussed about completing the 'dex.

iirc ive added about 70-80 to it (evolving must count towards it) but it started too late to get the biggest number from me if they had put up a note when you started the game rather than having to go looking for it it might of helped. Ive got 82 ish hours logged and have gotten to the point of diminishing returns im just evolving the last few ive got and i think ill call it a day (until i get moon probably this/next week) and whoever decided to hide mon down an sos call only in the rain needs to be taken out and shot

Yeah, I'm catching one of every 'mon I find, but I can't be fussed with SOS chaining.

ive caught some possibly most but its annoying you need mon who can attack enough to get them to call help but not so much you one shot them except when they call one thats not what you want and they dont seem to call if you just switch mon in battle (that seemed a reasonable compramise

 

on the plus side as a result of all the low percentage catch fishing etc (and soo many dead magicarp and wishiwassshi) i did this weekend im even more loaded made over 100k selling off pearls on their own and similar on big bearls and strings of pearls

i think i have a female eevee if you want it as i have at least one of every eeveelution im now on breeding lapras for no good reason

 

save spam before legendaries as if you kill them (and its not hard) you have to redo the elite4 for it to reset and allow you to try again. Discount megamart i remember there is one but thats about it dont think ive been back since i walked past in the story (unless you mean the abandoned one full of ghosts)

owt you cant get in sun really lol preferably pre evolved/ Any chance of transfering kadabra etc while wer at it to get them to evolve via trade?
