Leased Lines

Question that is possibly yet probably not related to other threads

Exploring options, if one had a leased line with a company, is it possible to move suppliers? Obviously companies share the main carriers, and for the most part infrastructure too, with I imagine a physical configuration at the other end routing traffic to your provider. Can another supplier take over a contract with that carrier and take onboard the infrastructure?

Does that even make sense?

I'm presuming you're talking about us here

 

By the by some carriers allow a change of ownership. E.g. if you were with Virgin Media direct the we can move you over to Virgin Media Wholesale and then convert the line to one of our national Ethernet circuits.

 

When using a BT EAD based leased line circuit this just isn't possible knowing how contacts work between ISP's and carriers.
