We use Cunninghams POS systems linked in with Biostore, parentpay and CMIS etc. We are just about to launch the pre-ordering feature for lunches with our sixth form and staff. Everything is in place and the procedure works, including printing 2 copies of a receipt onto a TM-T20 printer (one for the customer, one for the kitchen).

However we've discovered an odd issue. If you select "Build a salad", it appears on your shopping list (for lack of a better term) along with the price (say £2). You can then proceed to add whatever ingredients you want for the salad, each item adding to your list with a price of zero - as they are part of the salad. When it comes to printing the receipt, all of the free components print, but the main bit of "Salad - £2) is missed off?!! So the kitchen staff don't know if they are making a salad or a sandwich. However the cost is deducted from the users account. It appears to fail with anything with an actual cost, but any free components print.

I have a feeling this could be a setting somewhere in the impact.ini file, but this is all new to me and I haven't a clue where to look. Anybody have any ideas? Or am I barking up the wrong tree with the INI file?

I've been told that their support will cost us so I'm trying to sort it myself first.

Cheers
