O365 / Exchange 2010 : Hybrid - Distribution groups

O365 in hybrid config. Looking to migrate our distribution groups to O365.

We don't have that many ... is it easier to delete them off Exchange and recreate them in O365?

Configure Dirsync to sync the OU which they exist in and then they will also exist in Office 365

Ah... Sorry, I didn't explain correctly - we already use DirSync but we intend to push everything over to O365 and decommission the on-prem Exchange server

Yes the groups should copy with it. Assuming the OU they are stored in is set to sync.
