Veeam Backup Error

Only occurs on my Fileserver, which have to drives each from the host as a VHDX, main drive is the OS hosted on our Nimble Storage device, the second drive the the data drive hosted as vhdx files on a QNAP device.

 

Other servers backup fine just not these, keep getting Hyper-V VSS Writer failure. I have raised a case with Veeam this morning but thought I would post here on the off chance anyone has had a similar issue.

 

Hosts are Server 2012 R2, Veeam is fully up to date. This is a brand new Veeam install as I have just swapped from Backup Exec.

There is an article on this on the Veeam support forums, you may need to fiddle with the VSS stuff from what I remember, I used to get it occasionally in my old job on the hyper-v cluster and when it was fixed it would usually disappear after the occasional reboot.
