Aydanbt Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 We have 4 rooms of thin-clients old wyse and netvoygers all running on citrix or rdsh. Im looking into using these for the bbc microbits we have got USB drives working on the wyse's on citrix and i was assuming that the micro bits worked on the same concept boy was i wrong. Has anyone managed to get them working together?
Joanne Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I might be a bit naive here.. because I know nothing about citrix, but with the microbit I've used mine on a pc and a chrome book, it does appear as an external drive and when I go to the microbit website it saves the code to it... Are you getting any errors? Or just nothing? Do the microbits work ok on a normal fat client?
J0no Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Hi, I am having the same issue with Dell Wyse clients and Vmware View. No errors, the Microbit just doesn't mount as a storage device. The microbits work fine on tablets, fat clients, etc Has anybody managed to resolve this issue? Thanks Jono
gillop Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 We got them working! We have Dell WYSE C10Le terminals and like most couldn't get them to be seen, after discussions with Microbit we thought it might be down to the fact they present as FAT12 devices as there is a Known issue with C10Les and NTFS Drives. Over the summer we upgraded the Firmware on the C10Les to v8.1_027 and they now work.
