Hi all,

I have lurked around for years and had sporadic posts here and there. Spent about 8-10 years in k12 from Help Desk all the way up to CTO/IT Director.

Anyways - I am currently a Senior systems engineer doing pre-sales, architecture/implementation and senior level support on both PaperCut and uniFLOW products globally even for some of the very hardware vendors you are all using in-house. I know both products can on occasion get a bad reputation but I promise you it is typically not the product and there is a simple solution and they are far more powerful than most providers are able to do. Usually, it is a big misunderstanding and typically the issues or "oh, it cant do that" or "oh, it doesnt do that well" are issues with your support channel and not the actual product.

If there is anything I can do to help, let me know. I will try my best.

Qcomer,

I have a Uniflow system in place which has been great for us. Just starting to look at Windows 10 Workstations, and it would appear that the Windows Client does not behave with Win10. It connects to the Server (when using the right version) and the system tray icon is green. Send a print job to a monitored queue, and no popup appears for cost centre selection, as configured for all our Win7 clients. I have looked at the manual and made sure all the necessaries are in place for trusted sites etc, and no luck.

Any ideas?
