This isn't a show that I would normally bother with but this act does grab the attention somewhat.

 

Skip to 2 minutes 10 seconds on the video for the climax of the performance.

 

While this act looks perilous no harm comes to the performer. The reaction of audience members, and of the judges is something to watch.

I watched this and was impressed, however was the sword actually a sword? I highly doubt it was a sword with sharpened edges which if it wasnt, you cant help but feel conned. It's still impressive regardless but feel he should of stated either way.

I forgot to mention that Memoirs of a Sword-Swallower by Daniel Mannix is a cracking read on the subject. (Obviously you don't learn how to do it from a book...)
