Windows 10 - Disable setting 'PIN' code for PC unlock

Hi all,

 

Messing around with our Windows 10 test machine and came across the ability to set a 4-digit pin code that can be used to unlock the PC. We want to disable this to stop staff and students alike setting pass codes. After a quick Google and glance through GP I set the 'Turn on convenience PIN sign-in' policy to disabled. This made no difference, more Googling and I came across a reg key that can be amended which should disable the feature. The key can be found:

 

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/PolicyManager/default/Settings/AllowSignInOptions then change the DWORD 'value' to 0. Loads of people were reporting that the regedit worked a treat for them, however it was still no good for us.

 

So has anyone managed to disable this feature in your Win10 environment/test labs?
