vicmayberry Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Morning all. I have a director of a performing arts college who needs an online registration system. They are currently doing it all on paper. The problem is most MIS systems they have come across are too rigid - the college has no set morning or afternoon periods, registrations or lunch times. They have a mixture of courses that can be anywhere from one year to five years long. A lot of the teachers are specialists who come in for one lesson and then leave to go to another facility. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
GREED Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 There are a few college-specific MIS out there, Capita have one, Tribal another at the very least. I'd suggest that most school MIS's are specific for schools and the rigidity of them is deliberate for that purpose.
vikpaw Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Arbor was installed for a host of vocational colleges across Saudi. Worth checking in with them. 1
NotSoFast Posted March 24, 2016 Posted March 24, 2016 Do they need an MIS or an online registration system? An MIS might be overkill, depending on the size of the place. I know a number of smaller schools that just use Google sheets for registration and behaviour recording.
