randle Posted March 22, 2016 Posted March 22, 2016 Hi, Has anyone had any luck opening a OneDrive OneNote document in the Office 2016 desktop version of OneNote? Attempting to open the document directly from OneDrive using the "Open in OneNote" option just gives me the error: Attempting to Open from OneDrive within the desktop app prompts for username but doesn't redirect to my federated login screen so this fails as is looking for a OneDrive personal account. You can add an Office 365 SharePoint service under the Account tab which does redirect to the federated login page and this goes through the process fine without error but nothing happens! I didn't have an issue with Office 2013 and have removed any saved credentials from Windows Credential Manager as this has been suggested by a few others on other forums. I can open locally saved files fine but the above happens with any OneNote files located in OneDrive. This is currently the only computer with Office 2016 installed as am in early testing so will test this on another but wanted to check here before I go further.
