Educating 1140 students, The Bishop’s Stortford High School provides a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 and has a large, thriving co-educational sixth form, with over one hundred girls on roll. Last year our students achieved 87% 5 A*-C (Inc. English & Maths) at GCSE and 68% A*-B at A-Level, which saw the school in 10th place in the Daily Telegraph’s list of the top 30 comprehensive schools in the country and the second highest achieving boys’ school. The School is seeking to employ a proactive IT Technician to support the IT Manager in the running of the school’s network and infrastructure. The ideal applicant will be an excellent problem solver, with good interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience of working in a busy ICT Support team and want to expand their technical knowledge. A good working understanding of networking, Windows Server, Exchange and all of the necessary skills to successfully help support a network is desirable, although training will be provided.
