TwistedHelixis Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 Hello, Recently installed RDS Gateway on 2012r2 for the first time. When I visit the RDWeb page and then click on, download and login to the RDP app, I have all the mapped drives listed twice and it seems to be stopping Sims & FMS from running. What I see C on local pc D on local pc H on local pc M on local pc and so on but then I also have under that H on server M on server and so on Hope that makes sense. If I click on one from the first list, say M on local pc it opens the mapped drive on the server, slowly. I think this must be causing some issue for Sims and FMS
Julian Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 You have got your local drives mapped, because that is the default setting for MSTSC. To change which drives are mapped At the Remote Desktop Connection dialogue box, click on "Show option" . Select the tab "Local resources". Click on the button "More..." at the bottom of the dialogue box, Click on the "+" for drives. You can now select which (if any drives) are mapped. If you wish to save this configuration, that is available on the general tab. 1
