SharePoint accessing Network Drives

Hello,

 

We have just purchased and installed SIMS Learning Gateway and are self hosting on our SharePoint 2013 farm. Instead of having an separate document library on SharePoint and our network shared drives we would like to be able to access our shared drives through Sharepoint.

 

Is anyone doing this? If so how? Any help or advice would be gratefully received.

Salamander software offer a web part for this

Unfortunately not anymore. In SharePoint 2013 it only works using classic authentication and not the default claims based authentication.

Surely their must be something to utilise the c2wts to allow this? I'm writing an .net Web service that uses it so must be a way with a sharepoint webpart
