CAWJames Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 Afternoon all, 3 things to strike fear into any proof of concept! Basically we are looking at replacement bills for our asus netbook stock hitting multiple 10's of thousands. We have been looking at the Dell/Wyse VWorkspace product to use for our staff as an alternative to upgrading all the staff computers, as it will suit how we work, as in we have staff at home, staff that are mobile, etc, etc. And then someone thought why not used it for all!! So... does anyone use a shared virtual desktop solution with wifi(currently we have N) and less than stellar spec end user equipment? We had the idea of cheap and cheerful android tablets and attached keyboards, connecting to shared desktops Woo hoo Thursday Pipe Dream, I assume! Thanks James
