Google Apps, ADFS & Chromebooks

Hi,

 

We have Google Apps setup here with ADFS. When you sign in using a Chromebook does the Chromebook authenticate via the ADFS server please?

Interesting, our Chromebooks don't seem to do so.

Is it true on ADFS-linked Chromebooks the user has to end up entering their username \ password twice? Read something on the Google forums that it needs the username first to redirect to the third party's SSO login page, then again to actually authenticate. If so I'll leave ours with GAPS as it sounds a bit of a clunky process.

@gshaw Yes thats true. Its clumsy. There is probably a way to fix it with fiddling with the claims.

When we try and login it doesn't use the password from AD. It uses the passwords before SSO was setup.
