emskijim Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Hi I wonder if anyone can help? Is it possible to change the version date on an aspect like you can on a gradeset ? I want to be able to insert a new gradeset on an an existing aspect without changing the original gradeset? Thanks
bobsmith Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 provided it is a similar style gradeset then you can do this - you can't change integer to grades or vice versa. it'll by default do it from today - but you can backdate it provided no results have been stored since the "new" start date. 1
emskijim Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Thanks Bobsmith, but can you let me know how to do it - I dont have a version box to tick? Thanks
bobsmith Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Focus - Assessment - Gradeset - create a lovely new gradeset that does what you want. Next we go to Focus - Assessment - Aspect - find the aspect we want to mess around with - in section "2 grade" you have a magnifying glass icon, find your new gradeset using that. remember to hit save! 1
emskijim Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 Thanks bobsmith, but I already tried to do that and it won't let me save it as there is data entered using the aspect with the previous gradeset. I wondered if I could issue a new edition date and add the new gradeset from then, but it looks like I will have to clone the aspect and start again. Thanks for your help though
bobsmith Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 if you change it from today it shouldn't complain. 1
emskijim Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 Thanks, but it just wont let me. I wanted to be able to change the date from today, but it isn't giving me the option . I have set up a new aspect instead. Thanks for your reply
