IT Technician

 

Required for April 2016 (or sooner)

 

Salary from £ 19,621 dependent on experience.

 

37 hours per week - Full Time

Educating 1140 students, The Bishop’s Stortford High School provides a single-sex education for boys in Years 7 to 11 and has a large, thriving co-educational sixth form, with over one hundred girls on roll. Last year our students achieved 87% 5 A*-C (Inc. English & Maths) at GCSE and 68% A*-B at A-Level, which saw the school in 10th place in the Daily Telegraph’s list of the top 30 comprehensive schools in the country and the second highest achieving boys’ school.

 

The School is seeking to employ a proactive IT Technician. The successful applicant will have some experience of working within a busy ICT Support team and be looking to expand their technical knowledge through further experience and formal training.

 

A degree or equivalent experience in computing and a good working knowledge of networking, MS Windows Server, Exchange and all of the necessary skills to successfully help support a network. They will need the ability to work under pressure at all times, accurately, and within tight deadlines.
