sted Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 finally got fed up of the lack of pretty much anything for windows phone and bought the most vanilla free of preinstalled crud android phone i could get cheaply. But while its great as a device it just dosent do notifications in a timely manner/it all so ive got owa open on a pc and ive got several emails phone not a peep until i go into the app and refresh it unless i happen to be using it at the time any ideas as a phone that dosent respond to emails to me is less use than a chocolate teapot (you could at least eat that)
CAWJames Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 I've got the 6P and its spot on, also got a Pebble Time tethered to it, and thats spot on too. Have you tried installing Outlook and using that?

CAWJames Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Very strange then, 5X and 6P are pure android and use the Gmail app for Exchange email. I am using that myself as it passes more info to the Pebble than Outlook does, but my users love Outlook on their Z3 Compacts!
Poults Posted February 24, 2016 Posted February 24, 2016 Are the notifications set to be synced rather than pushed with a long time between syncs?
sted Posted February 24, 2016 Author Posted February 24, 2016 Are the notifications set to be synced rather than pushed with a long time between syncs? tried push and 15m checks seemed to make no difference. Played around with doze mode settings (basically stopped anything i think might help dozing) and installed some app it seems touch wood better
