IT Network Manager - Varndean School Brighton. £30k-£35k

Varndean School are looking to find a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and experienced ICT Network Manager to lead the school in the next stage of its ICT delivery. The Network Manager will play a key role in shaping the school’s IT strategy and will lead a committed Network Team in developing an outstanding IT infrastructure to support learning and teaching at Varndean. We have ambitious plans for ICT at Varndean and are seeking a candidate with a clear vision, along with the project management experience and skills to make it happen.

 

Varndean is a Google school, using Google Apps for Education, Gmail and Google Docs throughout. We currently run a Linux Ubuntu/Debian operating system but are looking to migrate our network to a Windows-based environment, so Linux experience is not essential. Experience of the education sector is highly desirable.

Starting salary is in the region of £30,000-£35,000, depending on experience.
