choran Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Has anyone had experience of installing this on a Windows network? 2003 server / XP station. I don't currently create my own MSIs - Heinemann say it does not come with MSI but they can ftp me an easyteach MSI that will enable install???? any comments greatly appreciated - Caitriona
bossman Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 @Choran: I have copied the contents of both Interactive poetry 1 and 2 to different directories on a mapped network drive and pushed the EasyTeach client out by GPO to each workstation that Interactive poetry is required on. Then have created the shortcut to each one "P:\Interactive Poetry\Interactive Poetry\IP_contents.et" (P: being my mapped drive) then created the group/s who will receive the shorctuts and given this group read, write and execute access rights on the Interactive poetry directory et voila.
jumpinjamez Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 You need the latest version of easiteach which is 3.3 to roll out on a non RM network using .msi and GPO.
