johnhart96 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Hi, One of our classrooms is having machines randomly shutdown unannounced. They do shutdown correctly. I can see in the event logs that the error is from USER32 "The attempt by user DOMAIN\USER to restart/shutdown computer COMPUTERNAME failed" Has anyone ever had this before ? John EventLogs.zip
Steve21 Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 You using WSUS/SCCM etc? Got it set to update/install automatically? Steve
johnhart96 Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 We use WSUS, I think I have got to the bottom of the problem now. We have recently been testing Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in this room. This package has been trying to update and causing this. You using WSUS/SCCM etc? Got it set to update/install automatically? Steve
