elsiegee40 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 You don't need to record visitors on the SCR. Regular volunteers should be there , but not one-off or occasional visitors

elsiegee40 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 (edited) Your visitors may not have DBS. DBS is only required for those working regularly, either in a paid or voluntary capacity, with the vulnerable be they young people or adults. If a visitor is just that, a visitor, and will not be unaccompanied at any time on the premises, then you record their visit only in the visitors book for the purposes of the fire register. The regulars, eg parents helping with swimming, governors, the LA speech therapist, will have DBS conducted by your school and/or their organisation and must go on the SCR I suggest you discuss this with your DCPC Edited January 27, 2016 by elsiegee40
