Restricting apps

I'm not sure if this is possible, however I've been asked to find out if there is a way to lock down iPads so only certain apps can be used during certain times of the school day. Ie, only allow our core apps during lesson times. Could anyone give me some advice on the best way to go about this?

 

We are currently using the free version of Meraki.

You can't lock down a pool of apps but you can lock iPads to a single app. I'm not sure how you can do single app mode in Meraki as we use casper an we have to setup classes using an app called Casper Focus.
