Missing Shortcut when Opening Word

A few users have an issue when opening word - saying it can't find shortcuts to some files. These files are on network drives that no longer exist. I'm presuming its in a list somewhere of recent files.

 

Can I clear it some how. Its doing it on lots of machines

We had a similar problem; there are instructions on Microsoft site that the user can clear the list:
