The Senior Infrastructure Engineer has a key role within Digital Campus Services in managing, maintaining and developing the Network and Server Infrastructure services of Arts University Bournemouth (AUB). The post will manage two technical team members and support a key range of technologies and systems developments with associated budgets.

 

This role will actively support operational and strategic objectives to implement and maintain an enterprise level infrastructure with virtual and physical servers, centralised storage and wired and wireless networking. The post holder will work closely with the Head of Digital Campus Services and DCS Operations Manager to research, develop and test new and integration of systems to support efficiencies and improved information workflows.

 

AUB actively maintains leading edge technology through consistent investment and upgrades and works closely with third parties to identify new technologies and current trends within the sector. The successful applicant will join the vibrant and creative AUB community in its intentions to excel in the delivery of a flexible, responsive and exciting digital learning and support environment.
