gumbygaz Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Morning, Just wondering who on here is Staffs and using Entrust (Capita)/Staff LEA for their broadband at the moment? Anybody know for definite what's happening come April? If so, what are you planning - staying with them or moving to another supplier? They've not sent any official quotes/renewal/information about what is being offered, well not to me any way. I've had information over the phone of prices but things like SMTP connectors and SAP issues still worry me. Cheers Gareth
yaco Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Alright Gaz, All but one of our schools use Entrust(Capita) for the PSN broadband contract. Most of the schools are looking to move away but with the access charges its looking difficult. I know quite a few high schools who have already agreed to move away, high schools are looking at £7225pa plus web filtering. Looks like schools may be able to carry on using PSN on a pro rata basis, not sure if this is only open to schools who will be using Entrust for broadband from April or if it is open to all. The new pricing looks reasonable compared to the original PSN pricing. It would be good to have official quotes and pricing with all the information made available! Hopefully they get rid of the SAP charges... Yac
