[android] OnePlus One - Microphone is completely dead

Ive googled this and tried all of the suggested options I could find such as:

 

Disabling Google Now on all screens

Uninstalling various apps

Rebooting

Trying the speakerphone method

 

Running the stock rom, and this seems to have got worse to a point of completely breaking since the most recent OTA update early Jan.

 

This affects all calls not just voice, eg facebook, whatsapp, viber as well.

 

Is my phone stuffed completly or is it a software bug?

 

Positng here first but will cross post on the OPO forums. Hopefully someone can help?
