Dreamweaver On A Network

We currently have Dreamweaver 8 as part of the Macromedia Studio 8 set. We run Windows XP SP2 on the desktops and Windows Server 2003 SP2 on the servers. We have a single mandatory profile for our users. At the moment our users create a site in Dreamweaver, and to save it have to export it using the Site Manager dialog, and then when they go to a different machine they have to import the site using the Site Manager dialog.

 

Anyone know if is it possible to cut this step out using the profile so that when the user logs into a machine and opens Dreamweaver their site is loaded up in Dreamweaver?

 

Our teaching staff find the above work around hard for the kids to do.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We use dreamweaver here and I use roaming profiles which allows the students to logon any machine and use their dreamweaver files automatically. The only thing to be aware of is the size of the profile when using dream weaver, they can get rather large and affect logon times.

Funny that you should post this as I am contemplating a move to mandatory profiles for this very reason.
