Office 365 Multiple GAL - Users can see all users?

Hi

 

I'm creating a couple of Address Book policies and have followed this Alumni post https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/educloud/2013/04/15/alumni-address-book-policy-in-office-365-education/ and altered the attribute it looks at upto the point where you hide from the GAL.

 

Everything works fine, except that if I click on Directory in the Webmail, it still lists all users in the directory rather then just the users in the Address List - have I missed something obvious somewhere?
