[sccm 2012] SCCM 2012 w/ Zoo Storm Desktop

Out of curiosity does anyone have a working task sequence for a Zoo Storm Desktop?

Got them working in the end but had an issue with PXE. SCCM does not just use Mac Address, it uses GUID of motherboard as well which are the same in some off the shelf motherboards that were in use on my computers. Ended up having to set PXE to respond to known computers as well

Was gonna say, zoostorm desktops could contain anything - you'd need to be FAR more specific - two identical machines from them could contain different motherboards entirely for instance. When you get new hardware in, if there's something different, grab the latest drivers off the mainboard makers website (not zoostorm) and import them into sccm and update your boot media.

Ah my bad the model number of the desktops are 976-2972/A i've downloaded the chipset drivers and have tried literally a million combinations. I'm going to try importing new drivers , creating a package and adding that as a step into my TS

Honestly the best thing to do is ignore whatever name is on the case UNLESS it's a HP, Dell or laptop. Open it up, or use CPUZ or similar to find the actual components inside and search for those. If my memory serves me correctly, our last bunch of Zoostorms (and will be the last, never again!) were Gigabyte mainboards.

I managed it the system model was set to To be Set by OEM. Other than that going for the motherboard model was the best way of controlling the drivers. One model had to have the USB 3.0 drivers installed by exe. One model causes an error due to the hash check of the image. So not great experience though it can be done.

Incase anyone has the same error as me i was able to accomplish this by creating a driver package and adding to my TS, in the driver package was the chipset drivers from the Zoostorm site.

CHECK the GUID when you hit F12 !!!

I had a whole lab where the GUID was the same! a bios update fixed that issue, but I had to reinstall windows on all of them
