in-place eDiscovery & hold

Hello,

 

I am trying to "archive" our leavers mailboxes who left in July.

 

I am right in thinking that with the new change to the plans for Education licences we can use this feature now?

If so, I am getting the error

"You don't have the correct permissions to place the mailbox "" on In-Place Hold because it's outside the scope of mailboxes you can place on hold. One possible reason is the mailbox doesn't have a license for In-Place Hold. To get permissions, contact your administrator."

 

Even though the mailboxes are licenced with "Office 365 for faculty or Students".

 

Anyone have any advice on this?
