Draytek 2920n

Hi all,

 

I have a Draytek 2920n with Gigabit ports for LAN and WAN.

 

Set this particular one up the other day on a gigabit internet connection and did a speed test, max throughput was 120-125 mbps on speedtest. Tried multiple servers etc.

 

Anyone had a problem with these routers on gig WAN ?

Is this for use with KC? I have the Vigor 2830, and I get exactly the same speed. What I didn't know was you have to set the MTU for 1492.

@superaz300 yes it is for use on a KC connection, with 1 gig fiber. I believe the MTU is already set at 1492. Ill double check thanks

Check the duplex settings. They're usually set to autonegotiate which limits it. It can be bumped to 10/100/1000 which should allow for a faster throughput. I did the same thing for @bodminman.
