kearton Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 They have a dual power supply. Does anyone happen to know how many British Thermal Units of heat these things generate please? Or failing that, what Wattage the power supplies are please? (ADVA say they have no information on this particular model as it is a special piece of kit made for BT. BT say they do not keep such information)

I can't get to the back of mine easily to take a look but thought I'd look for pictures online. Found one on eBay with a very clear photo of the rear sticker. Supply Voltage 100-240 VAC, Current 0.5A Max. So if my High School physics was right, Watts = Volts x Amps? So this means 120W. Presumably this is per PSU?

There's a power supply for one here VAPEL AD600M12-1N1 +12V 0.2~5A Switching Power Supply For ADVA FSP150CP Device | eBay. If they are redundant supplies and only one is used at a time i would guess the 0.5A is the total which is a max, so probably less in real usage. 1
