Arduino.cc and Arduino.org drivers

So it appears that the Arduino foundation has 2 forks, I didn't realise this until I had to install drivers which I got from the Arduino.cc website, the boards with the Arduino.cc domain work fine, but the boards with the Arduino.org domain don't want to install the drivers from Arduino.cc

 

Whats odd is if I manually install the drivers from the Arduino.cc website they work fine on the Arduino.org boards.

 

I know all this should just work together but it doesn't.

 

Should I install the Arduino.org drivers will they work with both boards?

OK looking at the Arduino.cc .zip file with the drivers it looks like they include drivers for the Arduino.org variant but its not picking it up when I plug the Arduino in.
