PSN Plus: December

Well, Sony have now released the list of games that are coming on to PSN Plus for free in December.

 

PS4:

Gauntlet - Slayer Edition

King's Quest - Chapter 1

 

PS3:

Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon

SSX

 

Vita:

Rocketbirds - Hardboiled

Freedom Wars

 

I'm looking forward to Freedom Wars and FC3: Blood Dragon (as I never actually bought it!). Kinda interested in SSX as I have fond memories of an earlier version.

Seems a bit of a weak list for PS4 for Christmas though... maybe they'll ramp it up in January to entice people shopping in the sales? I suppose there's argument that anyone being bought a console for Christmas will already have chosen which console.

 

I wish my PS3 hadn't died, it gets much better games out of PSN!

I don't expect triple A titles with the PSN service (or xbox gold) but when you do compare PS4 against PS3 the 4 gets the raw deal every month... this was one of the reasons I traded it for an xbox one (the main was lack of playing it!, but to be fair the xbox one doesn't get played either!) also the games released via PSN I already have most of them on my PC because I bought them for less than 5 pounds over 6 months before! not really impressed with the next gen consoles at the moment

To be honest - I was expecting a triple A title for the December update, but it looks like that may be January's update (as I was VERY happy with Injustice: Gods among us last Jan).

Yeah, i kinda looked last night and thought "Is that it?" Or is it also because PSN isn't showing games for other consoles?

Injustice was a good title, but the issue with it was I already had it on the PC I didn't bother buying it when it was first released April 2013!, and then it came on steam sale for something ridiculous like 3 pound so I thought for that much I need to buy it and then a year later... it is free on psn not really worthy title to be a big xmas shout out! a game that was over a year old and could be bought from game or cex for about a tenner? - not trolling just really disheartened with next gen stuff.
