media player crashing

a l,ot of users are finding media player crashes pretty much on opening on windows 8.1 pcs in one of my schools. Ive found a way to manually fix it but could do with finding a way to fix it globally. The fix is to remove the pictures library from media player and change a couple of options (I suspect not all are needed but this works) the options areuntick add local media files to library when played, untick add video files found in the pictures library and untick delete files from computer when deleted from library

 

any ideas how I can bulk remove them there dosent seem to be any obvious gpo options for this of anything that stands out in the registry to change
