[sims] Names of Class Teachers on Individual Reports

Hi guys

 

We have a situation where TEACHER A teaches 1 lesson a week of RS, and TEACHER B teaches 2.

 

The reports are written by TEACHER B, but the name pulled through is TEACHER B....we think alphabetically?

 

I'm not sure if there's a way to determine which teacher is pulled through - as we clearly don't want TEACHER A's name against a report written by TEACHER B

 

Is there a way to sort this?

I've never found an automatic way of doing this unfortunately. I add an aspect to each template, '[subject] Report Author', and staff fill that in. Also avoids any issues over some staff preferring Ms/Miss, or first/second/twelfth initial adding - they can put what they like!

 

Do check it though before you go to print; I have had staff put just their first name!

Yes I had thought of using another aspect - bit of a pain, though!

In Nova if you right click on the class you should have the option to choose Main Class Teacher, I think this determines it. Not sure where exactly the pointer needs to be but it's somewhere in there.

If you need to decide or have both on there, then an aspect is easiest.
