Assistant Network Manager – NW London

£27,000 - £30,000 (plus benefits.)

Our client, a large secondary school and sixth form in NW London have a requirement for an Assistant Network Manager, to join their existing IT team in a varied and exciting role.

 

You will support and maintain the school’s IT infrastructure including the network, server, workstations, projectors, printers and interactive whiteboards.

 

Other duties will include providing 2^nd / 3^rd line technical support, managing, prioritising and resolving computer and server issues including testing, installing and upgrading client and server applications.

 

Essential skills / qualifications :

Windows MCSA (or equivalent experience)

CCNA (or equivalent experience)

Windows 7

Windows Server 2012 R2 (and administration)

Hyper-V 2012

Configuring HP or Cisco switches

Imaging Tools (i.e. SCCM)

Active Directory

Group Policy

 

 

Desirable skills / qualifications :

Prince 2

ITIL

Maintaining a School’s network and internet security policies (secondary or HE level)

HP San

SIMS

Papercut
