Fazza Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 TouchDevelop from Microsoft is going to be used when (or even, if) the BBC MicroBit comes out and is delivered to our School. The website was working OK last week but there is now an announcement on their site that says Microsoft has changed something on their back end and now the site has stopped working for us in our computer suites! After signing in with a MS Live account you just get this displayed: Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this? If we can work out what should be happening at this point we might be able to work out what we need to investigate and fix!
JJonas Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Its working for me but I have not logged out since logging in last week.
Fazza Posted April 12, 2016 Author Posted April 12, 2016 Still unable to get this to work and the BBC website http://www.microbit.co.uk is doing the same when you click to view a tutorial. We thought we had provided a workaround for the Teacher who is using this as it looked like an IE issue so we installed FireFox in a computer suite for him to test it on the 19th of January 2016 which would rule out any IE restrictions in a GPO causing the issue. I asked him to test it and have heard no more from the Teacher... until today when they all want to use it! If we could work out what the website is trying to do at this point we could try and fix the issue but no one seems to know what the website is up to - is it going to another URL or using a port that might be blocked??? Help!
Fazza Posted April 13, 2016 Author Posted April 13, 2016 *PROBLEM SOLVED* Even thought the website is not blocked, on the system we have, you have to unblock the not-blocked website to get it to work!
