Microsoft App-V, anyone?

Hi All,

 

Just wondering if anyone here has played around with App-V?

 

We use SCCM, etc to push out applications. However we also have external course providers that use our PC's, some of them want additional software installing. In the past, it wouldn't have been a problem but now a days with 101 different applications installed (ok I maybe off on my numbers here), it take time to test additional software on our builds to ensure that it doesn't interfere or crash the machines...

 

How did you find it? Where did you find the install for it - the App-V server? (I'm currently downloading the MDOP for the client part)

 

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Just found the App-V server install was on the MDOP iso
